Bunny/ Shelter Ioana

Das bin ich:

 Bunny
She is without any doubt the most easygoing, friendly and adaptive cat I have met. She is like a dog in many ways, always eager to be by your side and do things together: play, travel, nap or watch tv - you name it and she’s up for it!
We found Bunny almost two years ago and took her to the vet to be spayed, but we found out she had a serios urinary  infection (she was peeing blood at the time).  She also had whatever was left of a broken tail covering her anus, so it had to be amputated. After treatment and proper diet/supplements she totally recovered except for sometimes peeing beside the litter tray - not allover the room, just directly near the box. She can go for months without a single accident, especially while on the right diet. Still, sometimes it happens and it is not revengeful or dumb of her because she does go to the tray and tries her best…
After numerous investigations (urine tests for bacteria and sediments, kidney ultrasound) she has been diagnosed with an idiopathic cystitis - the cause of which is not certain but could be traumatic (possibly the same accident that broke her tail).

Bunny has had a failed adoption already: a young Romanian studying in Germany adopted her and took her back to Munich where they both lived for a few months. Unfortunately because she couldn’t afford proper urinary diet food, Bunny’s peeing problems returned and her adopter decided to step back. She brought Bunny back to Bucharest where she is in foster care ever since.
Bunny is about 6-7 years old, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, she tested negative to all viral diseases, is microchipped and has a passport - she even traveled across Europe several times by plane & train which she actually enjoys. She loved the company of young students and having people over for small parties:)
She is also very good with other cats and friendly dogs.
She would be an amazing companion for someone who:
- is aware of her medical past (vet documents will be provided with translation)
- understands and commits to her dietary needs (Virbac Urinary - Struvite Dissolution kibble, Lysine paste supplement, good quality wet food)
- can be accommodating and accepting possible urinary mishaps (secure outdoor space or pads by the litter tray if necessary)
- can keep an eye on her urinary habits and provide periodic check-ups if needed.
- can commit to provide a steady, trustful forever family - Bunny needs stability and a home of her own, for good🤍
